The Scary World / Scary World Legends

My all time favourite storyline is "a dream to kill".

I remember when it was released I started off with "okay, yet another kill-mission..." and didn't even notice how it lead me from this to one of the scariest places in the game, the nursery. Which is like a sequel form the templar-story mission "Virgula Divina". I think Virgula Divina is now part of everone's story mission. Also oone of the scariest in the game.
Well at least it is for me.

Later on, with release of Tokio, there will be even scarier missions. Like, in a parking garage... Bad dreams are waiting for me...

For now, this one is enought to get a little nostalgic and share some screenshots of TSW and SWL of it.

Have fun and leave your nightlight on when you go to sleep!

the greatest love of all (TSW)

May 24th 2015, Ealdwic

[17:53] *Sennex steps inside the shop, quickly taking in the small room and its patrons. He nods at the barista, then looks at the young woman next to the counter. He dials of a small grin and walks over.
[17:53] Sennex winkt Ihnen zu.
[17:54] [Ebha]: "Hey", Eddy smiles. "So you've made it out of Kaidan. Welcome."
[17:58] *Sennex nods, his eyes unreadable beneath the dark glasses -- but the smile is pleasant enough. "We have a route in and out, back to the Agartha point if we need it that's pretty safe. Just a quick jog and you're out... " he runs a wide hand through his still-damp hair. "Just a short hop, a stopover at the flat for a shower and here I am." Ethan's smile warms a bit. "I'm glad you agreed to have some coffee with me."

TSW: get naked!

Sometimes I think I take things too seriously. But then again I'm thinking about what makes good RP good and bad RP bad.

Great parts of it are a matter of taste, I know. This is my blog, so I will talk about my taste.

a phoenix fighting the shaman

(originally posted on http://www.tsw-rp.com/profile/13679650, participants: Ilana "LadyDhee" Valkhor, Jericho "IwoJima" Blake, Ethan "Sennex" Edwards and my lovely Dr. Edith "Ebha" Thorne)

You cannot control fire, Ilana had always told people who asked her for lessons. You have to accept it. It’s a part of you. If you suppress it, it will break through. You have to live it. You have to take the consequences. Fire can keep you warm. It can help you to survive. But it can also burn you down. When it came to the elements, fire seemed to be the most aggressive one.
She had years to learn how to deal with that – with her heritage. But only a few months

when your plot is over...

My former character Mia Kelly (@mk_matches) has a very tragical background, starting with living in an orphanage, ending in hospital, because her former husband freaked out completely. She's more of a survivor than a fighter and her motif is "keep on breathing, no matter what happens to you" - because breathing will always be the least thing one can do to keep oneself alive.
She went through a lot of psychological treatment, of course. While I was playing her, I even put her into clinical treatment (... because I was RL-busy around christmas-time). Mia had some issues while interacting socially. Does not like to be touched, does not like to show skin, does not like if somebody is walking or standing in her back, being dyslexic... several more. Although she knows herself very well and knows how to avoid those situations, I always wondered: What if there was a psychiatrist who could treat her? Not a passive NPC, but a real player-character. Would it be fun? Or rather hard to handle? Maybe the Mia-Character could have evolved in a different way? Maybe faster into a socially acceptable direction? I always love to go into details deeply with
